In Episode 1, Player shows Carmen a map of Paris. Kids help them find important landmarks located in Paris.
Activity Instructions
Have kids locate important landmarks in Paris.
Estimated Time: 20-30 minutes
Materials Needed: Writing supplies, a map, internet access
- Explain to your kids that they’re going to identify different locations and monuments on a map of Paris.
- Show kids the image shown above and ask the question Quelle est cette ville? (Paris)
- Have kids name the Paris landmarks found on the map. Have them research the landmarks they cannot identify by looking up similar maps on the internet that include the names of monuments.
- After they have researched the landmarks, have kids point to each one and identify them. (C’est la tour Eiffel. C’est la basilique du Sacré-Cœur…)
